Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Clinical/Medical Laboratory Science or related field.
• MLS certification (ASCP/AMT) required for MLS II.
• Two years of experience for MLS II; none required for MLS I.

Responsibilities

• Perform waived/POC and high complexity CLIA testing as appropriate to role and demonstrated competency.
• Investigate equipment/test result issues and troubleshooting.
• Perform quality control, proficiency testing, and reporting of results.
• Assist in education and training of new staff and learners.
