Qualifications

• BS in Medical Technology preferred.
• BS/BA in Chemistry or Biology accepted.
• Associate degree in Laboratory Science or Medical Technology accepted.
• 1 year clinical experience (high complexity testing) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow procedures for specimen handling, testing, reporting, and record-keeping.
• Maintain proficiency testing records and ensure testing aligns with standards.
• Analyze specimens using approved procedures and report results.
• Review and release test results.
• Follow CLIA, HIPAA, OSHA and safety guidelines.
• Adhere to established policies when test systems are out of specifications.
• Identify and communicate issues impacting test performance.
