IU Health in Indiana is seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist to join the night shift at floating Bedford and Paoli Hospitals. You will perform laboratory tests on patient specimens and ensure accurate results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology or related sciences.
• One year of relevant experience.
• Certification or eligibility for board certification by ASCP; AMT; NCA or equivalent certification.
• Certification must be obtained within 12 months of employment.
• Knowledge of laboratory techniques and testing equipment.
• Ability to maintain quality control and records.
• Ability to use computer to enter and retrieve test results.
• Analytical skills to make quantitative and qualitative observations.
• Ability to work independently amidst interruptions and concurrent tasks.
• Knowledge of laboratory safety regulations and protocols.

Responsibilities
