Job summary

Athol-Hospital in Athol, MA seeks a General Rotating MLS/MLT to work across clinical laboratory areas. The MLS/MLT performs a wide range of procedures with independence, collaborates with supervisors, and participates in quality control, specimen collection, and special projects.

Strong organizational and communication skills are required. Night shift schedule is four 10-hour shifts (8:15pm-6:15am) with rotating weekends and holidays; eligible for a $30,000 sign-on bonus; salary range is $26.66

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in science with clinical training for MLT required.
• MLS/MT certification preferred or equivalent training.
• Strong communication, teamwork and attention to detail are essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory testing in multiple departments.
• Maintain quality control and record results accurately.
• Assist in specimen collection and data entry in the LIS.
• Ensure safety and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Communicate results to clinicians in a timely manner.
