Job summary

Banner Health in Apache Junction, AZ is seeking a Laboratory Technician for the night shift to perform waived and non-waived tests under CLIA ’88 supervision. You will help ensure accuracy, regulatory compliance, specimen receipt, and timely reporting while supporting department operations.

Applicant must have an associate or bachelor degree in a lab science (or CLIA-equivalent). Phlebotomy competency is preferred; Bachelors or ASCP/AMT/HEW/ABT certification is desirable.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in a lab science (or CLIA-eligible equivalent).
• CLIA 42 CFR 493 training/knowledge preferred.
• Experience with phlebotomy and specimen handling preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform waived and non-waived testing according to CLIA and department policies.
• Ensure accuracy of test results and document abnormalities or QC issues.
• Assist with inventory management, supply usage, and cost-effective operations.
