Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in Medical Laboratory Science or related field, MLS certification, and phlebotomy competency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in medical laboratory science/medical technology, or related field.
• Certification (MLS or categorical) or completion of an accredited MLS program.
• For NV/CA, maintain certification throughout employment.
• Demonstrated competency in phlebotomy where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing accurately and timely according to policies and standards.
• Ensure startup, calibration, and accuracy of procedures and instrumentation.
• Monitor abnormal results and document deviations; support quality and process improvements.
• Participate in inventory management and provide financial data for the department.
• Train staff, participate in committees, and contribute to competency assessments.
