Qualifications
- Certification in good standing as an MLT(ASCP) or equivalent required
- Associate degree in Medical Laboratory Technology may be considered for recent graduates
- Must obtain certification within one year of employment
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine and specialized laboratory tests on various biological specimens
- Analyze test results and report findings to physicians and healthcare providers
- Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Adhere to safety protocols and quality control measures to maintain laboratory standards
- Assist in the training and supervision of junior lab staff and interns
