Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate or higher degree in a laboratory science or related field.
• Phlebotomy competency demonstrated where applicable.
• Knowledge of CLIA requirements and regulatory standards.
• Equivalent training meeting CLIA 42CFR493.1489 or 42CFR493.1491.

Responsibilities

• Perform waived and non-waived testing accurately and on time.
• Ensure startup, calibration, and accuracy of procedures and instrumentation.
• Recognize and verify abnormal results, document deviations, and resolve issues.
• Assist with inventory, supplies usage, and cost-conscious improvements.
• Self-direct projects, train staff, and participate in meetings.
• Process and prepare patient samples with correct identification.
