MU Health Care seeks a Certified Medical Laboratory Scientist to join our laboratory team. You will perform tests across chemistry, hematology, and immunohematology, ensuring accuracy and quality control in a collaborative setting.

We value proactive troubleshooting, instrument maintenance and clear communication with Pathologists and clinicians to support patient care at MU Health Care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in MLS or related field.
• ASCP/AMT CPP or equivalent certification preferred.
• Ability to perform tests across chemistry, hematology, immunohematology.

Responsibilities

• Perform chemical, bacteriological, serological or microscopic tests.
• Maintain quality control and report results accurately.
• Calibrate and troubleshoot instruments and address malfunctions.
• Prepare reagents, standards and controls per procedures.
• Interpret results and discuss with clinicians and supervisors.
