Job summary

Aspirus Rhinelander Hospital in Rhinelander, WI is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technologist or Scientist to join our LAB team. The Medical Laboratory Scientist performs chemical, bacteriological, serological, hematological, and microscopic procedures in the Central Clinical Laboratory that require independent judgment and interpretation.

HOURS: .9 FTE/72 hours every two weeks with NIGHT shifts; 12-hour shifts, 7 on/7 off.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of laboratory standards and practices.
• Ability to perform high-complexity testing per CLIA 88.
• Demonstrates independent judgment in the clinical lab.

Responsibilities

• Performs chemical, bacteriological, serological, hematological and microscopic procedures in the Central Clinical Laboratory.
• Maintains competency and adheres to safety and regulatory guidelines.

Education

Bachelor's degree in medical laboratory science or related field

MT-ASCP / MLS-ASCP certification
