MedSpeed in South Bend, IN is seeking a Medical Driver to join our healthcare logistics team. You will spend your day driving a company vehicle, transporting lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals, and related items while ensuring security and accuracy with a handheld scanner.

The role requires a valid driver's license for at least three years, 19+ years of age, high reliability, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and the willingness to pass drug screens.

Qualifications

• Must be 19 years of age with an active driver’s license for 3 years.
• Demonstrated dependability and reliability.
• Familiarity working with and adapting to technology.
• Ability to pass initial and random drug & alcohol screens.

Responsibilities

• Drive and transport lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals, x-rays, and related materials in a company-owned vehicle.
• Operate a hand-held scanning device to track items through the transportation cycle.
• Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain a clean, neat vehicle.
• Route duties vary based on client and business needs; adapt across routes.
• Demonstrate safe and courteous driving behavior and professional client interaction.
