Job summary

Medical City McKinney is seeking a dedicated Med Surg RN for the full-time night shift (7pm–7am) with rotating weekends. You will deliver high-quality patient-centered care, document thoroughly, and collaborate with the care team to ensure positive clinical outcomes.

Responsibilities include assessing patients on admission and throughout shifts, administering medications, and educating patients and families about treatment plans. BLS within 30 days and Texas RN licensure are required.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Texas.
• BLS certification within 30 days of start date.
• 1+ year RN experience in Med Surg.
• Nursing education per state standards.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition at admission and during each shift.
• Administer medications and document care in the medical record.
• Provide prompt, compassionate care and respond to patient requests.
• Educate patients and families about condition, treatment, and follow-up.
