Job summary

Medical City McKinney is seeking a Med Surg Tele RN for a full-time day shift (7am-7pm) with rotating weekends. You will deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with the care team, following established nursing models to ensure outstanding patient experiences and positive outcomes.

Responsibilities include assessing patients on admission and during shifts, administering medications, documenting care, and educating families about plans and potential side effects.

Qualifications

• RN license (registered nurse)
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) required within 30 days of start date
• Associate Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing to be completed within 2 years of start date
• 1+ years RN experience

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition at admission and during shifts; report changes promptly
• Administer prescribed medications and document care in medical records
• Respond to patient requests and proactively address needs
• Educate patients and families about condition, treatment plan, medications and follow-up measures
