Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the night shift in Marlborough, MA. This non-exempt role requires nursing process proficiency and patient-centered care planning.

The position involves direct patient care, assessments, discharge planning, and supervising care within a clinical setting. A BSN is preferred, with MA licensure and BLS/ACLS current as applicable.

Qualifications

• Must hold current Massachusetts nursing licensure and registration.
• BLS certification is required; ACLS certification current or active.
• BSN highly preferred.
• Experience with direct patient care and nursing process.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the Nursing Process for patient care from Admission to Discharge, appropriate to the developmental age of the patient population.
• Performs patient assessment/reassessment according to standard procedure.
• Develops and coordinates individual plan of care including discharge planning.
• Directs, supervises, coordinates and evaluates nursing care within assigned clinical setting.
• Delegates appropriately to others in accordance with job description and competency level.
