Job summary

Exeter Hospital, part of Beth Israel Lahey Health, is seeking an experienced RN for night shifts in a busy, supportive environment. The role includes float pool coverage across Medical Surgical/ICU/PCU/ED and a 10% pay differential applied to the base rate.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in NH or a compact state.
• BCLS certification either current or within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS certification or within 1 year of hire.
• BSN strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to hospital policies and ANA standards; ensures safe medication and IV administration.
• Mentors new employees and supports professional development.
• Delegates tasks appropriately based on licensure and experience.
• Performs physical assessments and documents patient history on admission.
• Prioritizes patient care needs and plans discharge as needed.
• Evaluates and updates the care plan based on outcomes and feedback.
• Educates patients and families; develops education materials.
