Job summary

MultiCare Health System in Covington, WA is seeking a staff RN for the Med/Surg unit on nights. The role is 0.6 FTE with 12-hour shifts and alternating weekends, based at Covington Medical Center.

You will deliver skilled nursing care using the nursing process within a multidisciplinary team and align with our mission to provide patient-centered care. The ideal candidate holds an RN license in Washington (MLS acceptable), BLS, and preferably a BSN, with acute care experience.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington State or MLS.
• BSN preferred.
• Current BLS Certification.
• ACLS/NALS/PALS/TNCC/NRP certification as required by facility or department.
• One year of experience in acute care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Organize patient care by prioritizing, delegating, delivering and evaluating on an ongoing basis.
• Utilize nursing knowledge to deliver care using the nursing process per hospital policies, procedures and protocols.
• Collaborate with the nursing team to improve quality of care, patient experience and cost reduction.
• Foster a learning environment for patients/families, nursing staff and health care team members.
• Advocate for ethical and holistic care promoting autonomy, dignity and health of patients from diverse backgrounds.
