Job summary

Ascension Franklin in Franklin, WI is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for Med Surg to provide compassionate, evidence-based nursing care during nights. You will advocate for patients, monitor progress, and communicate with the care team to ensure timely interventions.

You will coordinate care with physicians and staff to deliver a seamless treatment experience and lead discharge planning for successful recovery at home.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Licensure from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing OR current home state license if considered multi-state/Compact State.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of compassionate, evidence-based nursing care.
• Advocate for patients by monitoring progress and communicating vital updates to the care team.
• Coordinate care by linking physicians, specialists, and staff for a unified treatment experience.
• Spearhead discharge planning to ensure resources and knowledge for at-home recovery.
