Randstad USA seeks a skilled Night Shift Maintenance Mechanic to keep our facility running smoothly by inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production machinery and mechanical equipment. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail, with a 3-year track record in maintenance.
The position involves reading engineering diagrams, following manuals and specifications, and maintaining safety SOPs.
Qualifications
- 3 years of experience in a maintenance role.
- Experience with mechanical and electrical systems.
- Ability to interpret blueprints, manuals and specifications.
- Proficient with precision measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers.
Responsibilities
- Observe machinery to diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and root causes.
- Disassemble equipment to access and repair defective parts.
- Inspect parts for wear and accuracy using precision instruments.
- Adjust and align systems using measuring tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Troubleshoot electrical and control system issues from schematics and I/O docs.
- Set up and operate machine shop equipment to fabricate or repair parts.
- Perform preventive maintenance and maintain shop organization.
