Job summary

Pro Services Workforce Solutions has partnered with a cellulose insulation manufacturer in Jenison, MI to hire a direct-hire Mechanical Maintenance Technician for the overnight team. You’ll work on conveyors, packaging lines, and robot cells, performing mechanical repairs and hydraulic work after hours.

You’ll use a CMMS, read HMIs, perform LOTO, and coordinate with production during night shifts (10:00 PM–6:00 AM).

Qualifications

• 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience with limited oversight.
• Strong mechanical fundamentals: conveyors, bearings, shafts, seals, gearboxes.
• MIG welding; basic electrical troubleshooting; hydraulic knowledge.
• Clear, fast communication with production and supervisors.
• Willing to train on 1st shift for up to 2–8 weeks before moving to nights.

Responsibilities

• Mechanical repair and upkeep on rollers, chains, bearings, and gearboxes.
• Maintain conveyors, shredders, packaging lines, and robot cells.
• Handle hydraulics: hose and O-ring replacements, leak fixes, and bleeding.
• Electrical triage: diagnose motor issues, verify power flow, and operate LOTO.
• Use CMMS and HMIs; communicate with production; coordinate during nights.
