Job summary

SpaceXAI seeks a hands-onMechanical Construction Leader to oversee night-shift crews building the Memphis Data Center’s advanced mechanical infrastructure, including HVAC, chilled water plants, pumps, piping, CRAC/CRAH units, cooling towers, and fire protection systems.

You will manage contractors, coordinate schedules, and ensure high-integrity systems with strict safety and regulatory compliance, while delivering on-time milestones in mission-critical environments.

Qualifications

• 3+ years leading mechanical construction teams on large-scale projects.
• 3+ years hands-on experience with process piping, HVAC, chilled water, and cooling infrastructure.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Oversee night-shift mechanical installations and coordinate crews.
• Schedule contractors and on-site teams to meet milestones and budgets.
• Ensure adherence to mechanical scope, standards, and safety requirements.
• Maintain logs, redlines, and as-built documentation.
• Develop aggressive construction schedules and monitor progress.
• Lead safety programs to maintain zero-incident culture on site.
