Job summary

SpaceXAI is seeking a hands-on Electrical Construction Manager to oversee electrical contractors and crews building the Memphis Data Center’s power infrastructure, including underground ducts, HV/MV systems, and grounding.

In this onsite role, you will lead field teams, manage schedules and safety programs, ensure code compliance, and deliver critical power systems on time and within budget, enabling 24/7 data center operations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years leading electrical construction teams on large industrial projects.
• Hands-on experience with duct banks, HV/MV, switchgear, and power distribution.
• Familiar with NEC/NFPA 70E and safety programs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee electrical installations including duct banks, conduits, and grounding for data centers.
• Manage electrical contractors and on-site crews to hit milestones on time and to quality standards.
• Ensure electrical scope adherence and high-reliability power systems.
• Monitor night-shift progress and maintain logs, drawings, and as-built docs.
• Develop aggressive schedules and enforce safety programs across teams.
• Lead foremen and crews, fostering teamwork in a high-stakes environment.
• Resolve on-site challenges and ensure code compliance and reliability.
• Conduct night inspections to verify regulatory and safety compliance.
• Prepare progress reports and risk updates for senior leadership.
