Job summary

Heidelberg Materials North America is seeking a maintenance technician to assist in maintaining and repairing mechanical equipment at our San Antonio, Texas site. You will perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with the team to ensure efficient operations.

Conditions of Employment

• Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug screen, and background check.
• Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.

Work Environment

• Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.

Physical Demands of the Job

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching.
• Ability to work in various positions, including kneeling, crouching, and climbing.
• Use of hands and fingers to handle or feel tools and equipment.
