Job summary

Trane Technologies invites you to join the Materials Team as a Team Leader overseeing receiving, warehousing, shipping and inventory control, while coaching MDI. You will ensure standard work is followed and resolve shortages or flow issues.

You will lead safety practices, manage material availability, and drive improvements through Lean principles with minimal supervision, while collaborating across teams on internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Ability to influence, coach and lead others directly and indirectly.
• High level proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook) and able to learn multiple systems and databases.
• Strong oral communication and ability to engage with internal and external stakeholders involved in scrap, trash, recycling and storage.
• Knowledge and application of Lean Principles; able to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety of employees and adherence to EHS requirements.
• Lead MDI and related materials activities and meetings.
• Lead and train employees, providing feedback and coaching.
• Ensure material availability and accurate inventories.
• Ensure all transactions and logs are completed correctly and timely.
• Maintain documents in compliance and retention policies.
