Job summary

Assurant is seeking a hands-on supervisor to support and develop a production team at our Irving, TX site. The role focuses on coaching the team, monitoring performance against KPIs, and ensuring quality controls align with work instructions.

You will partner with Supervisors and Engineers to resolve issues and optimize daily workflows. Ideal candidates have 1+ years in manufacturing leadership, strong communication skills, forklift certification if required, and a proven ability to train staff

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1+ years of lead or supervisory experience in a manufacturing/warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist Supervisors in training and developing the team.
• Monitor production performance and quality controls to meet work instructions.
• Reallocate resources (people/supplies/products) to meet customer goals.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure proper workflow.
• Act as point of contact for employees for escalations.
• Identify and resolve process issues with Engineering input.
• Complete daily reports and train/coach associates as needed.
• Monitor KPI and SLA performance and escalate issues when necessary.
• Maintain daily attendance roster for Emergency Evacuation purposes.
• Participate in 6S audits and implement improvements on the floor.
