Job summary

RRD is seeking a Material Handler 1 in the Web Press Department for a fixed 12-hour night shift (7:00 PM–7:00 AM) at our Minnesota facility. This full-time role follows a set schedule: Monday to Wednesday, and every other Thursday.

Compensation ranges from $19.00 to $24.00 per hour, with potential overtime and shift differential. The role includes benefits such as medical, dental, vision, PTO, 401(k) with match, life and disability insurance, and tuition assistance.

Qualifications

• Requirements indicate tasks to perform on the press and in warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

• Remove, flex, jog, and stack printed sheets from discharge unit of printing press or adhesive coating equipment
• Review signatures for smearing, register issues, bad folds, etc., and notify the Pressroom
• Remove folded signatures from web press and palletize for warehouse or binding areas
• Load/unload materials using pallets, carts, or trays
• Convey materials to designated areas using hand trucks or electric dollies
• Count, weigh, and record units moved on production sheets
• Attach tags/labels to materials or mark information on cases or containers
• Stack/bundle materials using a banding machine and clincher
• May use automated equipment or operate industrial trucks to move materials
• Assist Press Crew with press make-ready tasks
• Perform in-process quality checks for print defects
• Stock, move, jog, arrange, unload, count, and rotate items per instructions
• Complete stock description forms and labeling requirements
• Maintain general warehouse knowledge and use hand tools for material handling
