Job summary

Baxter is seeking a Material Handler, Packing for the Marion, NC area on the night shift to move, inspect, and pack IV therapies and sterile solutions, ensuring timely distribution and quality. You will operate packaging equipment and log activities in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, 1 year manufacturing experience preferred, and the ability to obtain PIT and Inspector certifications. Safety, accuracy, and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; 18+ years old.
• One year manufacturing experience preferred.
• PIT Operator Certification or ability to obtain.
• Inspector Certification or ability to obtain.
• Basic English written and oral communication.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand/walk for shifts.
• Basic math and reading work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Transport and inspect IV therapies and sterile solutions for packing into cartons.
• Operate packaging equipment and ensure proper carton erection per BOM.
• Visually inspect bags for defects and log findings.
• Unload trucks and package bags when needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area following 6S principles.
• Adhere to cGMP and SOPs for quality compliance.
