Job summary

Atkore International in Tampa, FL is seeking a Material Handler II for night or day shift. You will pack finished goods, monitor for defects, assist with start-ups or changeovers, and keep the work area clean and organized.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, manufacturing or general labor experience, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Excellent communication with teammates and a safety-conscious mindset are important.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing or general labor preferred.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds unassisted.

Responsibilities

• Bundle pipe according to inventory and shipping specifications.
• Update hour by hour boards and verify product conformance to quality standards.
• Operate and observe machinery during production; assist QC duties.
• Collaborate with coworkers, supervisors, and managers to achieve productivity goals.
• Adhere to safety procedures and report unsafe conditions.
