Job summary

Novolex is hiring a Feeder Packer in Mt. Vernon, Ohio for the night shift (7:00pm–7:00am) on a 2-2-3 schedule. You will prepare materials, feed machinery, inspect products for quality, and package for shipment.

Starting pay is $21.24/hour with a $0.75/hour shift differential. This role emphasizes attention to detail, safety, and efficiency. Responsibilities include reading production orders, maintaining quality standards, assisting with changeovers, and keeping the workspace clean.

Qualifications

• Stable work history; six months experience in manufacturing or physical labor preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and pack product per customer specifications using safe practices.
• Identify and communicate product quality deviations and assist with resolution.
• Read, understand, and complete daily paperwork and Production Orders.
• Assist the Operator with set-up and changeovers as directed.
• Maintain clean and orderly work area and equipment; follow safety programs.
