Job summary

Mars Petcare in North Kansas City, MO, is hiring a Material Handler for the night shift (6:00 PM – 6:30 AM) on a 2-2-3 rotating schedule. The role focuses on end-to-end logistics, receiving materials, moving them with a forklift, and maintaining accurate inventory in a climate-controlled plant.

You will collaborate with production, purchasing, receiving, shipping, and quality teams to ensure smooth operations in a safe environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in warehouse logistics, receiving, shipping, or material handling.
• Forklift safely in an industrial environment is required.
• Basic math, detail orientation, and good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive and verify incoming materials against orders and manifests.
• Operate forklift to unload, move, and stage materials.
• Conduct quality checks and document findings.
• Manage inventory movements and cycle counts in the WMS.
• Load outbound trailers and ensure correct labeling and FIFO.
