Job summary

Novolex is seeking a Material Handler to support inventory control, packaging operations, and shipping activities. You will read specifications, manage material movements, and perform trailer inspections while maintaining a safe, clean work environment.

The role requires a high school diploma, basic math/computer skills, and forklift certification. The shift is 7:00PM–7:00AM on a 2-2-3 schedule with weekly pay and night differential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Forklift certification is required or preferred.
• Basic math and computer skills are necessary.
• Good oral and written communication skills are essential.
• Strong organizational skills are important.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, clean and friendly work environment.
• Accurately control inventory of all raw materials, packaging, and finished goods, which includes requisitioning, receipt, storage, handling, scanning and shipping of these products.
• Accurately account for all material movements including in-plant product holds.
• Perform incoming trailer inspections as assigned.
• Ability to read and understand written specifications, procedures, safety issues and interpretation of diagrams for proper packaging.
• Ability to accurately control inventory throughout the entire process.
• Other duties as necessary
