BlueScope Coated Products in Middletown, OH is seeking a Material Handler for the night shift to safely handle and stage material at the paint line, and prepare materials for packaging of finished coils. The role includes ensuring proper identification tickets and safe storage of coils.

Responsibilities extend to quarantining non-conforming material, following Quality and Environmental Management systems, and daily collaboration with Maintenance, Operations, and Quality Control to meet

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, or experience.
• 6+ months forklift experience desired.
• 12 months overhead crane experience preferred.
• Ability to read and comprehend safety and operating documents.

Responsibilities

• Prepare materials for packaging and shipping of finished coils.
• Package finished coils safely and move them to designated locations.
• Verify identification tickets on finished goods before storage.
• Quarantine non-conforming material and notify Quality Control when needed.
• Communicate with Maintenance, Operations and Quality Control to resolve issues.
