Job summary

BlueScope Coated Products, LLC is seeking a Material Handler for the night shift to safely prepare, stage, and package finished coils. You will verify identification tickets and ensure proper storage of coils, while assisting with quality control processes.

The role requires forklift and overhead crane experience, adherence to safety rules, and ability to lift up to 75 pounds. Wages start at $22.50 per hour with benefits including health and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to read safety rules, operating instructions, and manuals.
• Ability to communicate effectively in group settings.

Responsibilities

• Prepare materials for packaging and shipping of finished coils.
• Package finished coils safely and move them to designated storage.
• Verify coils are identified with tickets and not damaged before storage.
• Quarantine non-conforming material and notify Quality Control as needed.
• Follow Quality and Environmental Management System principles.
