Job summary

FALL CREEK FARM & NURSERY is seeking a Material Handler to move materials safely between production lines and warehouse. The role requires forklift operation and adherence to safety protocols. You will work Monday – Friday nights 11:00 pm - 7:00 am with overtime including Saturdays.

The position is full-time, hourly, with a starting wage of $20.00 per hour plus a $1.00 shift differential. Candidates should have at least two years forklift experience, good communication, teamwork, and strong

• Minimum 2+ years forklift operator experience in manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Professional communication abilities.
• Ability to work well in a team.

• Proficient with a computer to complete tasks.
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions.
• Willingness to wear PPE and follow safety rules.
• Ability to work in hot, humid, cold and noisy environments.

Responsibilities

• Transport racks of material safely with forklift.
• Ensure proper packaging and labeling procedures.
• Perform inventory transactions with handheld device.
• Assist with other production functions as needed.
• Proper PPE usage while performing all duties.
• Adhere to plant safety and environmental guidelines.
• Ensure accuracy and quality of all deliverables.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Assist in Monthly Inventory Cycle Counting.
