Job summary

AUTOKINITON is seeking a dedicated Material Handler to join our 3rd shift operations in Michigan. You will safely operate Hi-Lo and tugger equipment, move steel, and perform visual material inspections to ensure quality.

The role requires reliability, teamwork, and adherence to safety standards in a fast-paced plant environment. Starting pay is $20.00 per hour with shift premium, with opportunities for overtime and relocation assistance where applicable.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years experience operating Hi-Lo
• Automotive experience preferred
• Great attendance record

Responsibilities

• Operate Hi-Lo and tugger safely & efficiently in accordance with MIOSHA and company standards
• Unload steel from delivery trucks and ensure specifications are correct
• Utilizing Hi-Lo or tugger, transport material throughout the plant
• Empty scrap hoppers
• Inventory coils & bundles
• Perform visual inspection on material
