Job summary

Mountaire Farms is seeking a Night Shift Master Maintenance Mechanic to lead the daily activities of the maintenance team, repair and tune equipment, and keep the plant running at peak efficiency. The role requires extensive hands-on expertise across multiple technical areas and offers a skills-based pay model, certified training, relocation assistance, and a $2,000 sign-on bonus for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent with technical training.
• 10+ years' experience in industrial manufacturing or skilled trades.
• Master-level mechanic with advanced safety knowledge and 6+ of the listed skill areas.

Responsibilities

• Ensure preventative maintenance schedules are met and inspect facility conditions and equipment performance.
• Install, assemble, and test new machines and equipment.
• Inspect machines regularly for malfunctions and perform visual and sound checks.
• Adhere to all safety requirements including PPE and lockout-tagout procedures.
• Perform emergency repairs and troubleshoot promptly and effectively.
