Job Description

Primary Purpose: In this role you will lead and guide the daily and weekly activities of the general maintenance team to ensure the plant operates at maximum efficiency with minimal downtime. Your responsibilities include repairing, programming, inspecting, troubleshooting, maintaining, and adjusting equipment and machines for optimal performance. This position requires proven ability in six or more technical skill areas and offers a skills‑based pay model, certified training programs, relocation assistance, and a sign‑on bonus for qualified candidates.

Essential Job Functions and Duties

• Ensure preventative maintenance schedules are met and inspect facility conditions and equipment performance.
• Install, assemble, and test new machines and equipment.
• Inspect machines regularly for malfunctions, including visual and sound inspections.
• Adhere to all safety requirements, including PPE, lockout‑tagout, and process safety management guidelines.
• Perform emergency repairs, requiring the ability to troubleshoot promptly and effectively.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED, trade school, vocational, or advanced technical training. May include a combination of on‑the‑job, informal, and formal training.
• 10+ years’ experience in industrial manufacturing or skilled trades.
• Fully understands the theory, practical knowledge, and skills to function as a master‑level mechanic safely and successfully.
• Skill certification required.
• Must demonstrate proven ability in six or more of the following technical skill areas:

• Demonstrated proficiency with routine general preventative maintenance and repairs and non‑routine high‑level repairs.
