Job summary

Lamb Weston Holdings, Inc. in Richland, WA is seeking a Mash Line Sanitation Prep team member for graveyard shifts. This role focuses on thorough cleaning of floors, walls, equipment, and tools to maintain sanitation standards and safe operations.

You will work with a dedicated team to uphold company safety practices and sanitation procedures, ensuring the mash line runs efficiently and safely during 8-hour graveyard shifts.

Responsibilities

• General cleaning of floors, walls, equipment and tools to ensure the equipment works in a safe and productive manner.
• Inspect areas in the plant to evaluate the cleaning and sanitizing to insure the plant is cleaned in accordance with State, Federal, and Company standards.
• Communicate effectively with other team members, supervisors, team leads, and maintenance personnel on sanitation issues.
• Must be lock-out/tag-out qualified.
• Responsible for working in a safe and productive manner throughout the work day.
• Participate in all plant safety programs.
• Perform risk assessments and demonstrate ownership as well as leadership in personal safety and the safety of other team members.
• Have the ability and willingness to follow instructions.
• Have the required knowledge of cleaning chemicals, their use, safety precautions, proper cleaning techniques, methods, and procedures involved in cleaning the plant.
• Read, understand, and obey all plant rules and practices safety as outlined in the employee handbook.
• Must be conscientious and consistent in his/her work.
• Be able to be work independently, be organized, and plan ahead.
• Be knowledgeable of proper body mechanics and safe lifting techniques.
• Be knowledgeable of the potential hazards and safety procedures associated with the task being done.
• Comply with 5S process/procedures at all times.
