Job summary

Lamb Weston in Twin Falls, ID is seeking a Sanitation Worker I for the D Shift to clean, sanitize, rinse and polish production areas. The role requires physical stamina and the ability to perform light to heavy scrubbing, sweeping and rinsing on nights.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED (sanitation certification preferred) and basic English communication, math, and computer skills. The job includes lifting up to 50 pounds and exposure to a noisy, cold, and hot manufacturing

Qualifications

• Sanitation certification required or be willing to obtain it.
• English communication skills required.
• Able to perform basic math.
• Proficient in basic computer operations and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Clean, sanitize, rinse and polish workstations and equipment.
• Follow proper cleaning chemicals, safety precautions and procedures.
• Prepare and mix cleaning chemicals for use.
• Apply cleaning chemicals with foaming equipment and scrub equipment.
• Maintain housekeeping in assigned area: sweep, scrub, rinse with high-pressure water.
• Change grader shaker screens in packaging areas as needed.
• Wear required PPE and perform other duties as assigned.
