Job summary

bioMérieux in Durham, NC is hiring a Manufacturing Technician for the operation of high speed equipment in the BacT/ALERT production line. This third shift role runs from 11:00 pm to 7:30 am, Monday through Friday, with responsibilities including setup, inspections, maintenance, documentation, and batch completion in a cGMP environment.

Responsibilities include operating automated equipment, adhering to SOPs, reviewing directions, and contributing to quality and process improvements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Certification in BioWorks Program or equivalent preferred.
• BioWorks, LEAN or Continuous Improvement certificate preferred.
• Work experience not substituted for degree.

Responsibilities

• Operate high speed manufacturing equipment using HMI/SCADA interfaces.
• Execute production activities per Manufacturing Directions and SOPs.
• Ensure batch paperwork is accurate and timely.
• Maintain compliance with cGMP and regulatory requirements.
• Assist in reviewing Manufacturing Directions and SOPs for manufacturing and packaging.
