Job summary

BioMérieux in Durham, NC is seeking a Manufacturing Service Technician 2 for the night shift to operate high-speed manufacturing equipment and ensure compliant production and packaging of BacT/ALERT bottles.

The role emphasizes accurate batch documentation, adherence to SOPs, and active participation in process improvements, CAPA, and QA collaborations to maintain a validated state of systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in a regulated production/operations environment or equivalent military experience.
• Experience operating high-speed, highly automated production equipment preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations (LOTO, electrical safety) preferred.
• Knowledge of FDA and/or GMP regulations preferred.
• Mechanical background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate high-speed manufacturing equipment, including highly automated lines, using HMI/SCADA interfaces.
• Execute production activities per approved Manufacturing Directions while following SOPs.
• Ensure batch paperwork is accurate, thorough, and timely.
• Complete processes and procedures in compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
• Train and certify teammates on production processes and procedures.
