Job summary

Corning Incorporated is seeking a Manufacturing Associate for the 12-hour night shift in Durham, NC. The role focuses on the safe and efficient production of fluid handling and cell culture products, with responsibilities spanning packout, material staging, and data entry.

The position emphasizes cGMP compliance, documentation accuracy, and teamwork across shifts. We offer comprehensive benefits and incentive programs, with pay starting at $20.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6 to 12 months of experience in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate all packout equipment in department, rotating operation duties according to shift schedule; monitor output quality and quantity and perform basic machine adjustments.
• Perform daily housekeeping, waste removal, and end-of-lot line clearance duties.
• Perform routine monitoring and inspection activities per product specifications.
• Complete production records/forms/move tickets, recording data into forms or electronic systems.
• Ensure accuracy and good documentation practices per company and cGMP standards.
• Use PeopleSoft, ETQ and Apriso software/databases.
• Stage raw materials, in-process product, and finished goods per procedures.
• Work with cleaning equipment and chemicals following all safety precautions (PPE).
• Relieve other Production Associates during their absence or break periods; rotate duties as required.
• Assemble, package, label, palletize and stage product per specifications.
• Complete electronic inventory transactions; perform routine testing and inspection for each lot.
• Track packed volumes and provide data to shift reports.
