Job summary

Cardinal Health in Deland, FL is seeking a Machine Operator for 3rd shift. The Associate II, Assembly operates multiple machines and performs routine inspections to ensure quality, with duties including setup, data recording, and reporting defects. Shift is 11:00 pm to 7:00 am, Monday through Friday, with a pay rate of $18.25 per hour.

Safety and quality guidelines are strictly followed. Preferred candidates have a HS diploma or GED and 1–2 years of manufacturing experience.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience preferred.
• High School diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sets up and operates production equipment in accordance with current manufacturing practices and standard operating procedures.
• Measures and records data associated with operating and manufacturing equipment.
• Verifies outputs in the manufacturing process and ensures that quality and quantity standards are met.
• Inspects components for debris or any quality defects and reports defects to management and quality team.
• Works with safety rules and regulations and follows SOPs.
