Job summary

Cardinal Health in Florida is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor to oversee hourly labor in molding, inspection, assembly and packaging of disposable needles, syringes and related products. You will ensure machines meet schedules while complying with FDA, GMP, ISO 13485 and product specs, while managing cost, time and materials.

The role emphasizes coaching, performance reviews, safety, training, and collaboration with engineering and maintenance to minimize downtime and drive cost reductions.

Qualifications

• BA, BS or equivalent experience in related field preferred.
• 2-5 years related manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience working with injection molding preferred.
• Experience working in a highly regulated industry, medical device preferred.
• Demonstrated success in managing people and leading a team preferred.
• Strong Communication skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise hourly manufacturing employees, organizing and assigning work and providing instruction.
• Interview and assist in selection of hourly manufacturing employees and fill open positions.
• Manage training and development of hourly employees, including safe work habits and housekeeping.
• Address employee issues and enforce plant guidelines with corrective actions as needed.
• Coordinate operation among departments to meet on-time production and quality standards.
• Provide data and collaborate with global support on cost reductions and process improvements.
• Lead CAPA teams and complete investigations.
• Drive cost reduction and continuous improvement in manufacturing processes.
• Lead safety on the shift and ensure proper PPE usage.
