Job summary

Cardinal Health in DeLand, FL is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor to oversee hourly labor in molding, inspection, assembly and packaging of disposable needles, syringes and related products. You will ensure machines meet schedules and comply with FDA, GMP, ISO 13485 and design specs, while controlling time, labor and material costs.

Qualifications

• BA, BS or equivalent experience in related field preferred.
• 2-5 years related manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience working with injection molding preferred.
• Experience working in a highly regulated industry, medical device preferred.
• Demonstrated success in managing people and leading a team preferred.
• Strong communication skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise hourly manufacturing employees, develop and recognize performance.
• Interview and assist in selection of hourly manufacturing employees.
• Manage training and development of hourly staff and safe work habits.
• Coordinate repairs and replacements with maintenance/engineering.
• Drive cost reductions and process improvement initiatives.
• Lead safety on the shift and ensure proper PPE usage.
• Ensure paperwork for finished products complies with manufacturing guidelines.
• Analyze production effectiveness and assist in inventory planning.
• Participate in CAPA teams and failure investigations.
