Job summary

Graphic Packaging International is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor for our Michigan facility in Sturgis. You will lead the day-to-day shift, ensure safety, quality, and production targets, and manage downtime and maintenance to minimize disruptions.

The role requires 3–5 years of manufacturing leadership, a Bachelor's degree or related experience, and strong communication skills. Shift is Sunday–Thursday, 11 pm–7 am, with overtime as needed. Experience with LEAN, 5S and SQF is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or related work experience required in lieu of degree.
• 3-5 years of manufacturing experience required.
• Experience in a front-line leadership position required.
• Union experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and facilitates the day-to-day shift activities of team.
• Oversees scheduling, material handling, and maintenance; resolves production problems.
• Responsible for people management actions such as performance management, training and development.
• Maintains a safe work environment and leads by example in safe practices.
• Ensures product quality, production efficiency, and productivity meet standards.
• Supports LEAN, 5S, Six Sigma and other continuous improvement programs.
