Job summary
Vertex Inc. is seeking a Supervisor of Manufacturing Operations to lead first, second, or third-shift activities, allocating work per schedules and production plans.
You will ensure cGMP compliance, oversee equipment setup, assembly, operation, disassembly, and cleaning, and supervise shift personnel to execute manufacturing tasks accurately. You will witness and execute batch records, perform real-time reviews, and collaborate with QA, maintenance, and other teams to meet operational goals,
Qualifications
- Leads and develops teams; coaches direct reports.
- Excellent written and verbal communication in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and schedules.
- Solid understanding of cGMP framework in drug product manufacturing.
- Ability to explain procedures and technical approaches clearly.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise daily manufacturing operations across shifts.
- Assign work based on detailed production schedules and plans.
- Oversee cGMP activities including equipment setup, operation, and cleaning.
- Review batch records in real time to ensure compliance.
- Interface with cross-functional teams to meet manufacturing goals.
- Maintain audit-ready facilities and adherence to SOPs and training requirements.
- Lead Tier 0 and Tier 1 meetings and support continuous improvement.
