Job summary
Pretium Packaging, L.L.C. is seeking a Manufacturing Maintenance Technician for night shift (7pm–7am) to keep our production lines running at peak efficiency.
You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on blow molders (EBM, SBM), conveyors, packers, and automated systems, diagnosing complex mechanical and electrical issues. You will guide junior technicians, document maintenance activities, and collaborate with production to minimize downtime while adhering to safety protocols and
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance.
- Strong troubleshooting skills in mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
- Experience with PLCs, VFDs, and industrial automation systems.
- Proficient in reading technical manuals, blueprints and schematics.
- Familiarity with CMMS software and preventive maintenance scheduling.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment including blow molders, conveyors, packers, and automated systems.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues using hand and power tools, multimeters, PLC interfaces, etc.
- Provide technical expertise and training to maintenance team members.
- Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and optimize machine performance.
- Ensure proper shift hand-offs and accurate end-of-shift reports.
