Job summary

Altium Packaging is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician for a 12hr night shift (2-2-3 rotating schedule) in New Castle, PA. Responsibilities include preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery and blow mold equipment while adhering to GMP requirements.

Requirements include basic math, pneumatics and hydraulics knowledge, and attention to detail. 2+ years in maintenance preferred; OSHA forklift certification is a plus, with overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with corporate and plant safety standards and regulations.
• Install, adjust and repair blow mold, trimmers, palletizer and related equipment.
• Perform mold, neck tooling changes, pin and other equipment changes.
• Inspect and replace pneumatic and hydraulic hoses.
• Inspect, rebuild and replace valves and pumps.
• Perform preventive maintenance on related equipment.
• Maintain machines in optimal processing condition.
• Weld, fabricate, and repair machines.
• Troubleshoot and repair blow mold, baggers and related equipment.
• Duties may vary by plant.
