Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Front-Line Manager for Nights to champion safe and compliant manufacturing operations. You will lead on-the-floor teams, drive problem solving, and collaborate with Quality, EHSS, and Process Development to ensure reliable production.

The role emphasizes continuous improvement, Agile Workforce leadership, and talent development, with a 12-hour night shift and ongoing training. A strong leadership background in regulated manufacturing is required.

Qualifications

• Basic qualifications include a degree option with years of manufacturing and leadership experience.
• Experience in managing people and leading teams in a regulated environment.
• Knowledge of cGMP, safety, and quality systems in pharmaceutical manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Safety and Quality Oversight: ensure safe and compliant execution on the floor.
• Operational Leadership: lead shift and coordinate daily tasks with the scheduling team.
• Talent Development: mentor staff and build a high-performing team.
• Continuous Improvement: drive process improvements and efficiency gains.
• Agile Workforce Leadership: cross-train and allocate resources across shifts.
• Strategy Execution: implement department plans aligned with site objectives.
