Job summary

Oldcastle APG in Bulls Gap, TN is seeking a skilled supervisor to oversee shop staff in a manufacturing and assembly setting. You will plan workloads, enforce policies, and drive productivity while aligning with safety and quality standards.

You will coordinate schedules, report progress to leadership, and coach employees to improve performance. A background in manufacturing and strong communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Typically requires 5+ years specific manufacturing experience.
• Knowledge of manufacturing procedures and terminology.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily plant operations with supervisory production staff.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Demonstrate strong analytical ability, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Provide employee coaching and development where necessary.
• Participate in employment-related decisions with management and HR to resolve issues.
• Drive continuous improvements in quality, productivity, cost, safety, and morale.
• Monitor departmental performance measures and report progress to senior leadership.
• Assist with accident investigations alongside Safety Manager.
• Maintain inventory levels within departments and track timekeeping.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
